Psiloritis winter wine tour
We drive towards Psiloritis mountain to visit a shepherd's hut where you will learn about cheesemaking and get in contact with the real-life of rural Crete. While the meat will be slowly roasting in the fire you will learn how to taste wine like a pro and get familiar with the indigenous grapes of Crete. During your Cretan farm to table meal, you will enjoy 5 Cretan wines under the guidance and personal care of our sommelier.

Itinerary
Departure
10.00 am: Departure from your hotel, enjoying having a sommelier sharing its knowledge of Crete region and its wines.
First Stop - Shepard’s hut
Arrival at shepard’s hut called mitato in Cretan dialect. There you will meet the priest of the village who is also a shepard. You will guided around the mitato where he and his family are having their vegetables and where they are making their own cheese. Near the fireplace you will have a traditional family lunch and taste 5 selected Cretan wines by our sommelier. An authentic experience at the foothills of Psiloritis mountain where you will listen to stories and meet the locals.
Drive Back
Return at pick up point at around 18.00 pm
