These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of GRAPE ESCAPE’s Website, located at www.grapeescape.gr.
www.grapeescape.gr is a travel web portal and event organizer company located in Greece.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
These conditions, along with any other information given to you at the time of booking, set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Grape Escape.
DATA PROTECTION
We are fully compliant with all data protection legislation. In order to process the reservations of the services contracted Grape Escape needs to collect personal data from the
TRAVELER which may include sensitive personal data such as information relating to any disability or medical condition or dietary restrictions.
We do not store during the booking process any credit card information since this information is processed automatically by our payment providers.
BOOKING
Grape Escape requests a 100% payment at the time of reservation from the TRAVELER and therefore sends the TRAVELER a safe payment link for 100% of the total amount of the tour.
A booking with Grape Escape is only confirmed when the TRAVELER receives a booking confirmation email from Grape Escape.
The tour is only confirmed when 100% payment has been made by the TRAVELER and received by Grape Escape.
A payment request via a safe link is sent to the customer to proceed with the booking of a service. Payment is expected to be paid within 5 days after the customer receives the safe link for a 100% deposit payment. If the required payment is not made within this period of time, then Grape Escape will understand the customer is no longer interested in booking the tour. As a result, Grape Escape will have the right to offer the tour to other parties interested in booking on the same date/tour.
ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
Any payment to Grape Escape constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PRICE MODIFICATIONS
We recommend the TRAVELER to check the price of the service at the time of booking to ensure there is no mistake. In case of a mistake in the price provided, Grape Escape reserves the right to correct it and claim or reimburse the TRAVELER any amount and advise the TRAVELER accordingly.
Grape Escape reserves the right to change prices in case of important changes in prices or in the taxes that apply for the services contracted and which would impact the cost of the services contracted by Grape Escape. In case the Travel price to the TRAVELER increases more than 5% due to changes described in this paragraph the TRAVELER would have the right to cancel the Travel and no cancellation fee would apply. The TRAVELER would need to confirm his intention to cancel the trip at least 5 days after having been communicated this change in price by Grape Escape.
TRANSFER OF THE BOOKING
The TRAVELER has the right to change the reservation to another person in case this is indicated at least 7 days before the start of the tour. This change would imply no administrative cost per person impacted.
MODIFICATIONS IN THE SERVICES PROVIDED
Grape Escape reserves the right to change wineries with similar official standards within the same DOC region. A change of wineries to be visited is considered a minor change and has no further consequence.
LIABILITY
Grape Escape accepts its responsibility to fulfill all the elements of the tour the TRAVELER books to a high standard and with reasonable skill and care. All the services we provide will be subject to the local laws of Greece.
FORCE MAJEURE
Compensation will not be payable and no liability can be accepted by Grape Escape in case Grape Escape is forced to make an important change or cancel the Travel services to be provided as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Grape Escape. These can include war, riots, terrorist activity, natural disasters.
MAJOR CHANGES IN THE SERVICES
In the unlikely case that Grape Escape cannot provide part of the services contracted by the TRAVELER, Grape Escape will provide a pro-rata refund of the cost of the services contracted.
CANCELLATIONS REQUESTED BY THE TRAVELER
Cancellations must be notified to Grape Escape in writing. The following cancellations charge would apply:
Cancelations made five (5) or more days prior to the tour date will be 100% refunded.
Cancelations made less than five (5) days prior to the tour date will incur a 50% charge.
In case of no show, 100% will be charged
LUGGAGE AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
These remain at all times the TRAVELER’s own responsibility.
